Our cottage

THE PEEP IS now SOLD, so we cannot take any further bookings.  Thank you to everyone who has booked with us over the years.

Our little cottage is over 150 years old and is in the picturesque village of Pentewan on the south coast of Cornwall, between Mevagissey and St. Austell (see map). It is also 5 minutes in the car from the Lost Gardens of Heligan (also walkable) and 15 minutes in the car to the Eden Project, Cornwall's two top visitor attractions.

The Peep is perfect for families. It is just 2 minutes walk from a safe, sandy beach.
There are two bedrooms, one with bunk beds, and the main room with a double bed. The bathroom, with a shower, completes the upstairs, and downstairs we have a pleasant lounge area overlooking The Square and a fully equipped kitchen and wood burning stove.
Very important in the summer months is the bench outside - a perfect place to catch the afternoon and evening sun and to enjoy the atmosphere of the village. The village harbour is within view of The Peep, just to the left of the village square on the way to the beach. Now only used by ducks and swans, it used to be a bustling harbor with large sailing ships docking there.

We also have a parking space, invaluable at busy times and particularly as the village car park is likely to be charging from summer 2019.
